Hierachical-cluster P2P overlay network model for streaming media

A novel Hierachical-Cluster P2P Overlay Network(HCPON) model is presented for live streaming media.Considering the heterogeneity and different locations of the nodes,the model organizes nodes into different hierarchies and clusters,and optimizes overlay structure using different strategies.The simulation shows that the model is scalable and robust,which can meet the need of large scale live streaming media service.
