Chip Technology and System Design of GPS and Galileo Receiver

This paper first discusses the characteristics of main GPS chip manufacturer′s latest products, and gives some projects to carry out the design of GPS and Galileo receiver. Then, it introduces a design of satellite position signal receiver based on the Nemerix′s GPS chipset, and analyzes the structure of the system as well as some noticeable problems in the design and debugging of each part of the circuit. The article then discusses the design of software receiver and the actuality of GPS and Galileo receiver design in China. Finally, the paper gives the future development tendency of GPS and Galileo receiver technology.
