Application of Zero Correlation Zone Code on Parallel Spread Spectrum Communication

Performance of 4 parallel quaternary phase spread spectrum communication with zero correlation zone(ZCZ) code is investigated by theory analysis and simulation.The results show that for an ideal linear channel the BER of this system is close to the BER of ideal QPSK system due to parallel branches interference-free employing ZCZ code;For nonlinear channel,in 1 dB gain compression of amplifier,the Eb/N0 deteriorate from 6.8 dB to 8.05 dB corresponding BER of 10E-3.Performance of systems can be improved by offset spread code,the Eb/N0 deteriorate only from 6.8 dB to 7.6 dB employing offset method corresponding the same condition.
