Image processing of coronary arteriongraphy by WT

Wavelet transform (WT) technique was applied to image processing of selective coronary arteriography for contrast enhancement and de-noising.Preliminary analysis results show that the implementation of WT greatly improved the discrimination of object and background in the images.By using WT with a changeable threshold,most of the noise introduced in the imaging procedure was decreased,and the definition of images was improved markedly.It is considerable to use WT technique as the main tool for the image processing of selective coronary arteriography.
