Studies on Virtualization of Cluster Resource Management Technology

A number of cluster management issues,such as the rapid deployment and switching of clusters,have not been satisfactorily resolved. The development of virtualization technology brings a new better solution for these issues. Virtualization decouples software and hardware and makes it possible to build customized virtual cluster. This paper describes the design and implementation of a virtual cluster VirtualCluster. The experimental results show that the virtual cluster system has obvious advantages compared to traditional clusters.
