Design of channelized OC48 POS linecard based on PM5360

The channelized linecard is a special POS linecard.This paper researched the design and implementation of OC48 linecard,the whole design scheme was given.The design adopted the link layer chip PM5360 to process the low-level signals,and used FPGA to process messages.The key points in applying PM5360 is mainly discussed.By designing a flexible configuration trick for PM5360,the linecard can accommodate the low speed OC3 and OC12 signal′s dynamic combination in the channelized OC48 signal.
