ASM Location Algorithm Based on Two-dimensional Information Matching

Active Shape Models(ASM) algorithm has been being widely used in objects location.In order to improve ASM accuracy in target location,an improved ASM algorithm based traditional one was presented based on two-dimensional information.In the method,two-dimensional gray information in the circle domain with the marker being the center,instead of one-dimensional information in normal,was used to match the object figure.Finally,the experiment indicates that matching precision of the improved ASM performs is higher than the original one.
