On the C/E Translation of Abstracts

As an English abstract highlights the significant parts of a paper in English,it should be in accordance with the text characteristics and specifications of English for Science and Technology(EST).This paper intro- duces the basic principles,tenses,persons and voices as well as useful words and sentence patterns for the C,/E translation of abstracts with examples,so as to improve the quality of the translation.
