Performance Analysis of Very-Low Bit Rate H.26L Video Compression Standard

Zhenyang Wu · Microelectronics & Computer · 2004

H.26L is a new video coding standard which aimed at very low bit rate, real-time, low end-to-end delay. It is the long term target of ITU-T. With the application of fractional pixel motion estimation, multi-block match methods, en hanced advance intra prediction methods, H.26L achieved a obvious reduction in b it rate, but great increase in complexity.
