A New Blind Equalization Algorithm Based on the Decision-Directed of Data Reliability

A new blind equalization algorithm for MQAM digital communication is proposed.This algorithm is based on MCMA(modified constant algorithm),and will be decision-directed on the reliability of the data.Theoretical analysis and computer simulations are presented to demonstrate the significant improvements in convergence rates and the residual error after convergence compared with CMA and MCMA.Especially,the algorithm can recover an arbitrary phase shift due to channel characteristics.So it is a very useful blind equalization algorithm.
