The Origin-destination Matrix Estimation Model and Algorithm in Congested Network

Traffic assignment of O D trip matrix estimation from link traffic counts usually employs proportional assignment method and user equilibrium assignment method.In a network with realistic congestion level,these methods have their deficiencies.This paper shows an estimation model with bi level programming foms.Upper level programming is the generalized least squares estimation model;lower level programming is stochastic user equilibrium model.Finally,a heuristic solution algorithm is provides and numerical simulation experiment is implemented to verify the effectiveness of algorithm.
