DEA and Data Mining

By the method of transferring the polyhedron of sum-form to its intersection-form which is given by Wei and Yan,this paper uses the intersection-form possibility sets and the method of evaluating the efficiency.The paper discusses the data envelopment analysis(DEA) models in data mining and deals with the properties(such as technical efficiency,returns to scales and evidence of congestion) of large amount of data.Comparing to DEA Assessment Machine,given by the author,this paper only needs one intersection-form possibility set,so it avoids the complexity of great computation.It is a new improvement for DEA Assessment Machine and a complementary approach for data mining.
