Typical methods and classification of medical image registration

Image registration is a research hotspot in medical image field,and has important value on clinical diagnosis and therapies.The principle of image registration and the classification of medical image registration are presented.The algorithms,advantages and disadvantages,and applications of three image registration methods based on mutual information,Fourier transform and wavelet transform are discussed.
