A new SDDB backoff algorithm in MAC layer for wireless multimedia sensor networks was proposed, which could use different backoff scheme to different priority flows. It can support different services and avoid second-collision effectively.SDDB is able to ensure the demand of real-time traffic transmission, which doesn’t reduce the throughput.Simulation results show that SDDB algorithm is more suitable for WMSN.
