Assessment of nursing intervention in treatment of patients with aortic dissection

Objective To investigate the effects of nursing interventions in treatment of patients with aortic dissection. Methods Total 28 patients with aortic dissection in our department from June 2010 to June 2013 were randomly divided into control group and observation group with 14 cases in each group. The control group received conventional treatments, while the observation group received nursing intervention. The nursing efficacy was evaluated from the aspect of anxiety before surgery,postoperative pain,efficient care,patient satisfaction in both groups. Results The rate of preoperative anxiety and postoperative pain in the observation group was significantly lower than that in the control group; the satisfaction of patients and care efficiency of the observation group were higher as compared to the control group,the difference was significant. Conclusion The nursing interventions for the patients with aortic dissection can mobilize their initiative and treatment compliance,improve the doctor-patient and nurse-patient relationship greatly,ensure that patients can receive an effective treatment,and improve the cure rate and quality of life of patients.
