Liyan Zhang · Proceedings of the Chinese Society of Universities for Electric Power System and its Automation · 2010

Along with the development of electric power system and the wide application of nonlinear equipments, the harmonics in power networks become more complicated. This paper proposes a new method applied in power system harmonics measurement-TLS-ESPRIT(total least square-estimation of signal parameters via rotational invariance techniques),which is an exact method of signal analysis based on subspace.HANKEL matrix is formed by sampling harmonics signal with noise.Harmonics signal with noise is divided into signal subspace and noise subspace by singular value decomposition. The amplitude and phase of each harmonic components are calculated by the method.Numerical results show that the presented approach is an effective one with high accuracy.
