Uplink Capacity Analysis of TD-SCDMA System Based on Smart Antenna

This paper analyzes the standard of TD-SCDMA and elements of SA, and with homogeneous circular smart antenna of eight arrays as an example, examines TD-SCDMA uplink capacity from system level. The simulation results indicate that some parameters of SA influence the uplink capacity. Simulation analysis also suggests that, with SA in TD-SCDMA systems, the noise background are obviously reduced as compared with omnidirectional antenna in the TD-SCDMA systems. And in comnination with MUD technique, the capacity of TD-SCDMA systems uplink is obviously raised.
