The Application of Wavelet Analysis in Data Denoising of Dam Safety Monitoring

The dam monitoring data can be treated as sequence signals in a common sense.Through wavelet transformation analysis of the data,we can effectively separate signals from noises.The basic methods of wavelet analysis denoising include modulus maxima denoise,the denoising based on the correlation of different scale wavelet coefficient,threshold denoising and translation invariant wavelet denoising.This paper studies the specific algorithm of wavelet denoising based on the MATLAB Software and writes out a calculation program.Practical examples show that the wavelet analysis denoising method can effectively recognize noises in the monitoring data,which has the advantage of simple operation and undistortion.
