A Research of Image Retrieval Based on Relevance Feedback And Multi-Feature Integration

This paper firstly proposes an image retrieval method based on color-space histogram, which designs rectangular overlapped sub-regions to get color histogram in each region. Co-occurrence matrixes and Gabor filters are proposed to describe the texture feature. Then this paper puts forward combining Co-occurrence matrixes, Gabor filters and the improving color distributing approach to extract images features. In order to make retrieve images more effectively, this paper uses a relevance feedback mechanism. Finally, the precision and recall of single feature, multi-feature integration and relevance feedback are calculated and compared.
