TCP-BM:a kind of TCP protocol improvement over heterogeneous network

Researching the congestion control of heterogeneous networks,a new TCP algorithm named TCP based Measurement is proposed based on the traditional TCP Reno Protocol.It uses the RTT to divide the slow start stage into three parts firstly;and then divide the avoiding congestion stage into two processes:positive and negative.After the packet lost in the network,it can distinguish the lose reason by comparing the latest RTT with the historic record and by estimating the bandwith,then it will change the value of the congestion window and the slow start threshold differently.The simulation results prove that the improved that TCP algorithm performs better than the traditional TCP Reno Protocol.
