Concept of the Construction of Marine EconomicStatistic Informationization

The construction of statistic informationization is a demand not only for national economic development, but also for statistics itself. Although marine economic statistics has made a lot of achievements during the past twenty years, it still has many problems such as inadequacy of attention received from top managers, functional separation among related sectors, lacking of plans, insufficient development of information resources, and hidden danger in information security. Thus, this paper puts forward the concept of the construction of marine economic statistics informationization, which includes building an information network platform by optimizing and reorganizing the resent network and transforming the national LAN, improving the data-base construction consisting of basic supporting DB, professional original DB, professional working DB, comprehensive application DB, and metadata DB, establishing operation system involving data-collecting system, statistical analyzing system, and geo-information system, and perfecting the portal of marine economic information.
