In this paper,the development of information and decision-making support system for earthquake disaster prevention and reduction is summarized.Then based upon the Daqing Oil Field Information and Decision-making Support System for Earthquake Disaster Reduction,a technological skeleton of distributed earthquake disaster reduction system is well discussed.Meanwhile it is shown that the distributed GIS has become an important developing trend in construction of information and decision-making suppurt system for earthquake disaster prevention and reduction and is of great value in application.
