Multi-recipient signcryption scheme based on self-certified cryptography

Based on the theory of multi-recipient signcryption and self-certificated cryptography,a new multi-recipient signcryption scheme based on self-certified cryptography is proposed from pairings,and its security is proved under the hardness of elliptic curve discrete logarithm problem and bilinear Diffie-Hellman problem.In the scheme,no certificate is required for validating the public key;certificate authority does not know the private keys of the users.The new scheme is more efficient than the existing ones in terms of computation costs and communication overheads,so it is more propitious to applications in practice.
