Design of Communication between Computer and Instrument based on RS485

This paper described the corresponding principle and method of the RS485 bus, and designed a communications system based on the RS485 bus. The real-time communication between the monitoring system and the instrument was realized. The testing result indicates this system, which has some characteristics such as stable performance, far transmitting distance, quick correspondence speed, and anti-electromagnetic interference ability, takes good effect on the Intelligent electrical fire alarm system.
