Quality of Service Solution Based on MPLS_VPN Platform

The multi-protocol label switching virtual private network(MPLS_VPN) is now firmly established as the preferred choice for providing private IP networking services for a very wide range of customer type.Quality of service(QoS) is a natural complement to MPLS_VPN technology,enabling multiservice operation, and supporting the increasing drive toward application convergence.This paper gives a detailed overview of the principles and mechanisms of differentiated-services QoS,and researches QoS using DiffServ.
