Target Data Association of Multistatic Sonar Based on Multidimensional Assignment

A multitarget programming model dealing with multistatic sonar information was proposed. A method based on correlation test and the optimal assignment was deduced according to the method of track correlation of multi-sensors. This method decided the cost function and passive emitter localization using weighted instrumental variables according to the targets’ position estimation from multi-nodes. It avoided a large quantity of calculation of correlation cost of measurements which come from different tracks. The calculation burden of the system was reduced. At the meantime, with the elimination of measurements error, which has lower cost in the optimal assignment process, the probability of wrong correlation was decreased.
