Application of TI C6211 DSP in Multi-channel Telemetry Demodulator

This article describes the working theory of a multi-channel telemetry demodulator based on DSP with external large FPGA structure and the application of T1 C6211 DSP in the multi-channel demodulator. It presents a date exchange method between the host and the T1 C211 DSP based on the concept of data exchange windows. This method saves the limited internal RAM of the C6211 DSP and keeps the C6211 DSP running at a high speed. It also discusses the advantages, the disadvantages and the application situation of the query process and interrupt process.
