Because of the openness of the Internet and other reasons led to the network environment of the existence of a large computer system security issues.Based on the computer network technology in the Open and Distance Education give people convenient,fast access to education,but also when the exchange of information has brought the concerns of insecurity.After briefly introducing cryptography and password technology on the basis of research in the Open and Distance Education commonly used in network security strategies and deal with preventive measures.Summed up the three data security and confidentiality requirements,focus on how to make use of password protection of networks and network technologies in data security,a Web server in the secure transfer between the application of SSL Implementation of the agreement.
