Using AntConc to Create a Small-Scale Corpus for EFL Class

In foreign language teaching and study,the creation of small-scale corpus has become a hot issue and promises broad applications.AntConc,a rather useful text analysis tool,paves the way for corpus technology to enter the language classroom.The paper introduces the basic functions and features of the software AntConc,and discusses the feasibility and methods of its application to corpus-aided foreign language teaching through the current situation of corpus application in EFL.And then it goes on to offer some suggestions for the creation of text source and tag based on the real school teaching circumstances.
