In this paper, a method of evaluating the performance of the interleaver for turbo codes is discussed This method is also used to compare the performances of the interleavers of WCDMA and cdma2000 Simulation results are presented to prove its validity Also, simulation results prove that the method presented in paper [3] is not suitable for evaluating the performance the interleaver for turbo codes
