The Ultrasonic Positioning System of Underwater Object

An ultrasonic positioning system based on correlation analysis and used underwater was introduced,the principle and design were discussed.The feasibility of this method in principle was validated through the simulating test in the air and the precision could fulfill the request of the system.The expected effect in this test was gotten.After being improved,this system can be uesd in the heave compensation system for deep sea mining system,and provides real time and exact heave distance for the mining ship.
