Application of UV imaging technology in Ningxia Electric Power Grid

UV imaging technology can confirm the location and strength of the corona,furtherly provides bases for evaluating the operation of the equipment.The detected numbers of UV-photons can be characterized as the degree of discharge and give reference to direct operation and maintenance,which can be widely applied in insulation state evaluation of electrical equipment external insulation.Through the comparision of several common corona detection methods,verifies UV imaging technology can effectively and visually observe the external discharge of the high voltage equipment,and which can play an active role in the defection and faults detection of the electrical equipment.
