Analysis and Discussion on Blasting Loading and Its Effect on Road-Rail Tunnel

The blast resisting capacity of large river-crossing tunnel is the key aspects of tunnel disaster prevention and emergency response design.The impact of blast from the road level and rail level of the Sanyang Road River Crossing Tunnel were simulated with equivalent static loading.The results suggest that tunnel lining has redundant structural capacity under blast loading,while the internal structure needs additional reinforcement at certain areas.
