Applications of highresolution Direction of arrival(DOA) estimation are limited by errors of the array model in real systems.This paper establishes a model of array manifold errors for wideband signals.Because the array errors of wideband signal is much more difficult than narrow band signal,highresolution robust wideband DOA estimation method is very useful in real systems.A robust method based on spatial smoothing is presented for array errors in this paper.Experiments are carried out in a water tank for wideband array signals.The results show that the proposed method can be widely used in practice.
