Analysis and research of current ontology editing tools

Ontology plays a key role in the web information share and exchange at semantic level, so the implementation of easy and quick ontology's editing is the presupposition of the abroad research and application on the web. Now many web ontology editing prototypes, tools or environments appear, for instance: OILEd, Protege, WebOnto, etc. A summary, analysis and comparison are taken on ontology tools of all sorts, and then their advantages and disadvantages are found, and some ideas on future development are given.
