Error Analysis of Underwater Target Tracking System Using Short-base Line Sonar

Error distribution is a problem for underwater target tracking in a short-base line sonar system,which is investigated in this paper.Based on relevance theory and error theory,distribution of the location error is studied in underwater target tracking using short-base sonar system.By analyzing the error distribution,an index is provided for evaluating performance of the system.Also a method is developed for error analysis in such location system.
