Empirical Research of Using Focus+Context Technology to Improve the Web Registration Interface Usability

The research tries to explain the importance of background information for the registration operation,by studying20 college students' web registration.The results show:① for the navigational dimension,subjective evaluations on the revised procedure of using Focus + Context technology is significantly better than the original one;②for the task operating time, there is no notable difference between the operations on this two procedures.This,Focus + Context technique can be used to address the lack of background information on the registration system's navigational issues,reducing the burden of user memory,thereby improving user operation satisfaction.
