Pinning controlled synchronization of a complex dynamical network

Hongmin Li · Journal of Yanshan University · 2010

In this paper, pinning controlled synchronization of a complex dynamical network is studied. Firstly, a new complex dynamical network model is introduced, in which the nodes of the network are different and each node is a dynamical system with the same dimension. States of the network can exponentially synchronize onto a homogeneous stationary state by designing appro-priate controller. Then some synchronization criteria and an example are presented to validate the theoretical results. MATLAB simulation results show that by controlling the two nodes selected randomly and even just controlling the greatest degree node of the network, states of the network can achieve synchronization quickly when the whole network is controlled to the equilibrium point. In a word, the numerical simulations coincide with theoretical analysis.
