The Realization Analysis of Softswitch based on NGN

According to the circumstances of the market, the competition of the telecom vocation is intensifying, the operators of PSTN, CATV, ATM and IP networks are peeking at others' traditional markets. The open-ended traffic platform and the system construction of NGN incarnate adequately its opening, expansibility and flexibility, which satisfy the request of the hierarchical control needed by the telecom operating. It offers the providers a good basic environment of supplying customer convenient and quick various new services. In this paper, we introduce the concept and features of NGN and its key technology -Softswitch, and analyses the existed problems as well as the its development foreground of NGN construction.
