Application of Higher-order Statistic to Servo Drive System Fault Diagnosis

Wavelet packet decomposition and high-order statistic were described,and a method of radar servo drive system fault diagnosis was proposed in terms of combination of wavelet packet analysis and high-order statistic.When drive system is in fault,the measured vibration signals are non-stationary and non-Gaussian and usually it contains strong noise.Wavelet packet analysis can decompose the vibration signals,and then extract the fault characteristic signal.Through analysis of fault charouteristic signal with Higher-order statistic,fault diagnosis can be easily carried out.
