Study on the Matching Process of Daugman's Identification Method

Iris recognition technique is a new biometric recognition technique appeared in recent 10 years,which is mainly composed of four parts.In this paper,the pattern matching process presented by Daugman is studied.It is found that this matching process is efficiency for a small database which contains 592 irises records from 323 persons,but when faces a relatively large database,the matching process exists some problems.Then a method to solve this problem is proposed in this paper.
