A new adaptive video stream congestion control algorithm for Internet

A new adaptive video stream congestion control algorithm for end-to-end application-New-AVSP is introduced.A method for RTT(Round Trip Time) estimation using flatness parameter and markedness parameter by moving window average way(FMMA) is used in the New-AVSP;and a parameter based adaptive moving average algorithm(PAMA) for sending rate control is used to adjust the available bandwidth at the current time based on RTT and packet loss ration.By contrast with the traditional congestion control method,the simulation results show that the improved algorithm improved has a faster converge rate on the conditions of step variety and the smooth ability when wave jitter.
