This paper discusses the linear ordering of syntactic structures under the framework of minimalist program, including the terminal ordering of phrase structures and the linear ordering of syntactic structures in the condition of move.It explains some idiosyncratic syntactic phenomena related to the linear ordering of syntactic structures in Chinese. The paper proposes that the flexible object movement in Chinese is not a part of narrow syntax, but rather a PF phenomenon.Based on the order preservation proposed by Fox and Pesetskey, the paper explains the syntactic mechanism under the surface of Chinese object movement phenomenon. In accordance to Kayne's linear correspondence axiom, the paper questions the explanation on rightward movement in some so called inverted structures in Chinese in the traditional grammar, and attempts to give a reasonable explanation to一张床睡两个人type sentence structure in terms of its syntactic derivation and linear ordering.
