IMS Technology in NGN

Following a brief overview of the background of IMS formulation,an analysis of IMS design principles is provided.Then an introduction is given to IMS session control(architecture) and service control(architecture).Also presented are examples of IMS session control procedure and value added service(provisioning).Finally a discussion is devoted to the relationship between IMS and NGN.
