A Study of Heterogeneity in Wireless Sensor Networks

With the rapid technological development in the field of wireless communication and electronics,low-cost,high-integration and self-organization wireless sensor networks will obtain wide application.Firstly,four aspects of heterogeneity in wireless sensor networks are proposed and concluded,such as computational ability,energy supply,link communication and network protocol.Secondly,a hierarchical network architecture and two technical standards are briefly introduced to adapt to the heterogeneity in wireless sensor networks.Finally,the security problems of wireless sensor network are discussed.
