Applying intelligent technology to upgrade port container handling operation can improve the port container traffic greatly and is the development trend in port operation.This paper discusses intelligent control theory,multi-level optimization strategy,remote computer monitoring,computer simulation,network communication,database technology and application of modern information management to port container management.
