The Modeling Technology about Intelligent Hydropower Plant Based on IEC 61850

The main contents and characteristic of IEC 61850 is briefly introduced.The architecture of intelligent hydropower plant information model and the method of modeling based on IEC 61850 are described.Meanwhile,it also described that the structure of substation configuration description language(SCL).IEC 61850-7-410(communication for monitoring and control) and IEC 61850-7-510(modeling concepts and guidelines) are illustrated.Its application in intelligent construction of hydropower plants for research is described.
