DSP realization of G.723.1 speech coding algorithm

In this paper,a solution of real-time implementation of G.723.1 on the hardware development platform TMS320C5416 DSP was proposed.Compared with the performance goal for real-time implementation of G.723.1 standard,algorithm brought forward by this standard was improved.Finally the standard was realized on the hardware development platform TMS320C5416 DSP.The voice quality was good enough to meet the requirements of communication quality.
