Description and retrieval of deep drawing pieces based on similar forming characteristics

A product description and retrieval method based on similar forming characteristics for deep drawing pieces was proposed,which divides the product description into geometric shape description and forming parameter description.A nearest neighbor method was used to carry out a similarity search of the product in terms of geometric shape and forming parameters.In this way,some most similar cases nearest to the new product were found in the case library and used as the design basis.The technique was verified through examples.
