Solution of Probability Problem Based on MATLAB Visuatizations

Probability theory and mathematical statistics is an important course of the college mathematics,and it is difficult for students to study.The reason is that there are some abstract and obscure concepts and definitions which are scarcely met in usual study.So it is not easy to understand these concepts and definitions by abstract thinking.Instead,visualization is helpful to understand these contents.In this article,application of MATLAB software visualizations in probability theory and mathematical statistics teaching is described.Some practical examples are listed to illustrate the strong drawing function of MATLAB in teaching.Some abstract and obscure concepts and definitions are fully understood by virtue of imagery thinking.Study difficulty in the course is reduced,then,study interesting is increased correspondingly.Teaching is twice the result with half the effort.
